Education and Training
Dr. Andre Panossian's illustrious journey began by receiving his medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, following his exceptional academic performance at UCLA, where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude honors. His commitment to excellence continued as he embarked on a combined residency program in general surgery and plastic surgery at the esteemed Keck School of Medicine of USC. During this rigorous training at the well-known LA County Hospital, Dr. Panossian honed his surgical skills and laid the foundation for his career. Driven by a passion for craniofacial surgery, Dr. Panossian completed subspecialty training at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and Harvard Medical School. He also learned the practice of facial paralysis reconstruction under the mentorship of Dr. Ron Zuker, a pioneer in facial paralysis reconstruction. This coveted fellowship opportunity, offered to only one surgeon in the United States, provided Dr. Panossian with unparalleled expertise in facial paralysis reconstruction and advanced craniofacial techniques. By his admission, Dr. Panossian is obsessive about achieving the most perfect result possible. In this vein, he refined his techniques further through specialized training in France.
